Apple Explores Expansion For AI-powered Robots And Products
Apple is developing a new lineup of AI-powered products, including a tabletop robot companion set for release in 2027. The robot, driven by a redesigned Siri, aims to offer realistic interactions and serve as a VIRTUAL companion. A smart speaker with a display is also slated for 2026, alongside a home security ecosystem featuring Apple-branded cameras.
The robotic assistant, internally code-named J595, will feature a 7-inch swiveling display on a robotic arm, enabling natural user interaction. Enhanced with an upgraded Siri, it will manage tasks, facilitate FaceTime calls, and participate in multi-person conversations. This MOVE marks Apple's aggressive push into AI hardware, seeking to reinvigorate innovation after the lukewarm reception of the Vision Pro headset.
